Gamers 4 Croydon
Gamers 4 Croydon (G4C) was a minor political party in South Australia which contested the 2010 state election. The party disbanded shortly after the election and endorsed the Australian Sex Party and the Greens as possible replacements for support. History The party had a strong anti-censorship message, particularly relating to the lack of an R18+ classification for video games in Australia. Founded in late 2009 and registered in 2010, its aim was to unseat South Australian Attorney-General Michael Atkinson from his seat of Croydon in the House of Assembly (lower house). Gabe Newell
Gabe Logan Newell (born November 3, 1962), nicknamed Gaben, is an American businessman and the president of the video game company Valve. Newell was born in Colorado and grew up in Davis, California. He attended Harvard University in the early 1980s but dropped out to join Microsoft, where he helped create the first versions of the Windows operating system. Croydon is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. Named after the suburb of Croydon, it is a suburban electorate in Adelaide's inner north-west. John Rau
John Robert Rau SC (born 20 March 1959) is an Australian barrister and politician. He was the 12th Deputy Premier of South Australia from 2011 to 2018 and 48th Attorney-General of South Australia from 2010 to 2018 for the South Australian Branch of the Australian Labor Party in the Weatherill cabinet. Rau was the Labor member of the House of Assembly seat of Enfield from the 2002 election until announcing his intention to retire from Parliament on 10 December 2018, and submitting his resignation on 17 December 2018.
