''Game On!'' is an American sports-based comedy game show that aired on CBS from May 27 to July 22, 2020. It is hosted by Keegan-Michael Key and stars tennis player Venus Williams and American football player Rob Gronkowski with comedians Bobby Lee and Ian Karmel as they captain two teams of three competitors competing in a series of challenges. The show is an American adaptation of the British series ''A League of Their Own (British game show), A League of Their Own''. It is executive produced by James Corden, who has served as a host of the British version. A game show is a genre of broadcast viewing entertainment (radio, television, internet, stage or other) where contestants compete for a reward. These programs can either be participatory or Let's Play, demonstrative and are typically directed by a game show host, host, sharing the rules of the program as well as commentating and narrating where necessary. Mitch Metcalf (born ) is an American television analyst and former scheduling executive for NBC. He studied politics and economics at Princeton University. He worked for Frank N. Magid Associates and Research Communications before joining ABC in 1990. The network promoted him to director of West Coast research in January 1995, and later senior vice president of research. Terrell Eldorado Owens (; born December 7, 1973), nicknamed T.O., is an American football wide receiver for the Knights of Degen of Fan Controlled Football (FCF). He previously played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons.
