Gam Malludora
Gam Malludora (1900–1969) was an Indian politician and tribal leader who served as a Member of Parliament. He was born in Koyyuru mandal of Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh, India in 1900. He was the younger brother of Gam Gantamdora. Their father was Gam Boggudora. The Gam brothers were close associates of Alluri Sitarama Raju during his tribal fights, attacking the police stations of Krishna Devi Peta, Addateegala and Annavaram and procuring ammunition for their assault missions. However, he took shelter in a house in 1923. During this time, the British arrested him and prosecuted him with the death sentence. On his appeal, the death sentence was changed in 1924 to life imprisonment at Andaman Jail. He was released in 1937 on the perusal of Congress politicians. In this way, he became the only associate of Raju to survive the British assault. Visakhapatnam district (formerly known as Vizagapatam district) is one of the six districts in the Uttarandhra region of the States and union territories of India, Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, headquartered at Visakhapatnam. Lanka Sundaram (Telugu: లంక సుందరం) (1 January 1905 – 8 January 1967) was an Indian politician and an expert in international law. Life He was born in Chodavaram in Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. He did his primary education in Noble College, Machilipatnam. During an oration, Maharajah of Baroda, Syaji Rao Gaekwad sponsored his education in England. He studied at University of Oxford in International Law. In 1929, he qualified in the Indian Civil Service examination. But the British Government refused to give him government job. Hence he has concentrated on social service. He was elected to the first Lok Sabha in 1952 from Visakhapatnam constituency. The First Lok Sabha was constituted on 17 April 1952 after India's first general election. The 1st Lok Sabha lasted its full tenure of five years and was dissolved on 4 April 1957. The First Session of this Lok Sabha commenced on 13 May 1952. Total Lok Sabha seats were 489 and total eligible voters were 17.3 crores. The Indian National Congress (INC) won 364 seats.
