Galmudug Maritime Force
Galmudug ( ar, جلمدج; it, Galmudugh), officially Galmudug State of Somalia ( so, Dowlad Goboleedka Galmudug ee Soomaaliya), is a Federal Member State in central Somalia, with its capital at Dhusamareb. It is bordered to the north by the Puntland state of Somalia, to the west by the Somali Region in Ethiopia, to the east by Indian Ocean and to the south by the Hirshabelle state of Somalia. Consisting of the Galgaduud region and Part of Mudug region, Galmudug's name is derived from a conflation of the names of the two regions. Galmudug is a federal state within the larger Federal Republic of Somalia, as defined by the provisional constitution of Somalia. Location Galmudug is the most centrally located area in Somalia. It is situated about 750 km from Mogadishu, Bosaso and Harar in Ethiopia. Qolobaa Calankeed
"" (; ; ) is the national anthem of Somalia. Written and composed by Abdullahi Qarshe, it was adopted on 1 August 2012 with the passage of the Constitution of Somalia, Somali national constitution, (1 August 2012), Somalia in which it is enshrined. It replaced "Soomaaliyeey toosoo", which had been in use since 2000. "Soomaaliyeey toosoo" is often still used as a de facto national anthem, though the official national anthem for Somalia is "Qoloba Calankeed". Dhusamareb
Dusmareb ( so, Dhuusamareeb, ar, سمريب, it, Dusa Mareb) is the capital of Galmudug state in central Somalia. The city also serves as the administrative capital of the Galguduud province. Historically, the city was known as Daar Dheer or simply Dardher but later in time the city's name changed to Dusamareb also spelled Dhusamareb. Location Dusamareb is 511 km from Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia. The highway that connects the north and the south of the country goes through the city. Galguduud ( so, Galgaduud, ar, جلجدود, it, Galgudud or ''Ghelgudud'') is an administrative region (''Administrative divisions of Somalia, gobol'') of Galmudug state in central Somalia. Its administrative capital is Dusmareb. The largest town in the region is Abudwak, which lies on the north-westernmost point of the region.
