Galloping Vengeance
''Galloping Vengeance'' is a 1925 American silent Western film directed by William James Craft and starring Bob Custer, Mary Beth Milford, and Ralph McCullough. Plot As described in a film magazine review, Texas Ranger Tom Hardy is assigned to find an Indian chief who has been kidnapped by Duke Granby and his gang, who seek valuable oil lands. Jack Reeves, brother of Marion with whom Tom is in love, becomes mixed up with Granby. During a fight a man is killed and Jack is made to believe that he killed the man. Tom finds the chief, forces Granby to confess to the murder, and rescues Marion from a torrent caused when one of Granby's men dynamites a dam. William James Craft
William James Craft (1886 – 30 June 1931) was a Canadian film director and screenwriter. He directed more than 60 films between 1910 and 1931. David Dunbar (actor)
David Dunbar (14 September 1886 – 7 November 1953) was an Australian film actor. Dunbar was a prominent actor in American and British silent films, particularly in westerns,Wooley p.19 but switched to playing more minor roles after the arrival of sound. In later years he appeared mostly in British-themed Hollywood films. He was one of the first film actors beginning his screen career with Pathe Freres, Paris in 1910. Previously he was an actor on the legitimate stage both in Australia, his homeland and in Britain. On 7 March 1926 his wife Blanche was killed in a car collision in the Hollywood Hills. He had one sister, Miriam Kathleen (Strachan) Dunbar who remained in Petersham, New South Wales. Miriam married William Thomas Strachan, the children of that marriage being Miriam Kathleen and William James Strachan.
