Galip Kulaksızoğlu
Galip Kulaksızoğlu (1889 Kadıköy, Istanbul – 1939, Istanbul) was a Turkish footballer and manager. He was among the founding line-up of the Turkish football club Fenerbahçe. He served the club for 17 years both as a player and manager. He was known for his sportsmanship and passion for the game. Kadıköy (), known in classical antiquity and during the Roman and Byzantine eras as Chalcedon ( gr, Χαλκηδών), is a large, populous, and cosmopolitan district in the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey, on the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara. The Turkish people, or simply the Turks ( tr, Türkler), are the world's largest Turkic ethnic group; they speak various dialects of the Turkish language and form a majority in Turkey and Northern Cyprus.
