Gal Uchovsky
Gal Uchovsky ( he, גל אוחובסקי; born September 27, 1958) is an Israeli screenwriter, producer, journalist, activist and Israeli TV personality. Early life Uchovsky was born in Hadera. His family moved to Vienna where his father studies. They returned to Hadera when he was five-years-old. He attended high school at the Pardes Hana Agricultural High School. In his youth he excelled in sports and even played for a short time for Maccabi Pardes Katz larification needed/sup>. At the age of 14, he was registered twice on the team's squad and appeared once on the field. He started his military service in a pilot 's course for the first 11 months. Hadera
Hadera ( he, חֲדֵרָה ) is a city located in the Haifa District of Israel, in the northern Sharon region, approximately 45 kilometers (28 miles) from the major cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa. ''Gay Days'' ( he, Hazman havarod) is a 2009 Israeli documentary film about the emergence of an LGBT community in Israel, starring major activists in Israel's cultural life and LGBT community: Gal Uchovsky, Eytan Fox, Ellyot, Amalia Ziv, Amit Kama and others and some rare archival footage from pride events, feature films and student films. Yair Qedar ( he, יאיר קדר, born June 13, 1969) is an Israeli documentary filmmaker, social activist and former journalist. Chronicling the lives of Jewish and Israeli figures of the modern Hebrew literary canon, Qedar's 19 feature length documentaries have all premiered at film festivals and have won the director over 20 prizes. Eytan Fox ( he, איתן פוקס; born on August 21, 1964) is an Israeli film director. Biography Eytan Fox was born in New York City. His family immigrated to Israel when he was two. His father, Seymour Fox, was a Conservative rabbi and a professor of Jewish education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His mother, Sara Kaminker-Fox, was the head of the Jerusalem city council and involved in Jerusalem urban planning. Fox has two brothers, David and Danny. He grew up in Jerusalem, served in the army, and studied at Tel Aviv University's School of Film and Television.
