Gaspar Milazzo
Gaspar Milazzo (April 25, 1887 – May 31, 1930) was a major organized-crime figure in Detroit, Michigan, during the Prohibition era. He had earlier been a member of the Brooklyn-based gang that would later become known as the Bonanno crime family. Early life Born to Vincenzo Milazzo and Camilla Pizzo in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, Milazzo immigrated to the U.S. in 1911 and settled in Brooklyn, New York. Angelo Meli
Angelo Meli (; February 10, 1897 – December 1, 1969) was an Italian-American mobster who became a consigliere and then leading Chairman of the Detroit Partnership criminal organization of La Cosa Nostra. Early life Angelo Meli was born on February 10, 1897, in San Cataldo, Sicily, the youngest son of 13 children born to Vincenzo Meli and Maria Antonia Gugaglio. Meli immigrated to the United States at the age of 17, settling in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to work as a coal miner. He worked in a Pittsburgh foundry and moved to Detroit in 1918. In Detroit, Meli worked as a baker and restaurateur. William Vito "Black Bill" Tocco (born Guglielmo Vito Tocco; February 12, 1897 – May 28, 1972) was an Italian-American mobster from Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan and a founding member of the Detroit Partnership of ''La Cosa Nostra''. Early life Tocco was born Guglielmo Vito Tocco in Terrasini, Sicily on February 12, 1897. He was one of seven children born to Giacomo Tocco and Nicolina Moceri. In 1912 the Tocco family immigrated to Detroit, Michigan. Tocco became a naturalized citizen after serving in the United States Army during World War I. The company continued producing malt products and did well for around five years, then it was changed to the Pheiffer Products Co. Joseph Zerilli (born Giuseppe Zerilli; ; December 10, 1897 – October 30, 1977) was an Italian-born gangster who rose to power in the crime family known as the Detroit Partnership, leading from the 1930s through much of the 1970s. Anthony 'Tony' Joseph Zerilli (October 24, 1927 - March 31, 2015) was an Italian-American mobster from Sterling Heights, Michigan. From 1949 he was one of the majority owners of the highly profitable Hazel Park Raceway. In 1970 he succeeded his father Joseph Zerilli as head of the Detroit Partnership ("The Partnership") criminal organization. Giacomo "Jack" William Tocco ( 1927 – July 14, 2014) was an Italian-American mobster and long-time leader and mob boss of the organized crime organization known as the Detroit Partnership, based in Detroit, Michigan.
