Stephen Kendall Gadd (born April 9, 1945) is an American drummer, percussionist, and session musician. Gadd is one of the best-known and highly regarded session and studio drummers in the industry, recognized by his induction into the ''Modern Drummer'' Hall of Fame in 1984. Hemming Gadd
General Hemming Gadd (6 November 1837 – 14 January 1915) was a Swedish Army officer. His senior commands included regimental commander of the 2nd Life Grenadier Regiment and Svea Life Guards, as well as commander of the 4th Army Division. Gadd served as Chief of His Majesty's Military Staff from 1905 to 1907. Early life Gadd was born on 6 November 1837 in Harlösa, Sweden, the son Johan Niklas Gadd, a provost, and his wife Sofia Dahlberg. In 1857 he served as a non-commissioned officer in the North Scanian Infantry Regiment (I 6), and he was commissioned as an officer the following year. Major General Hugo Adolf Magnus Christoffer Gadd (13 March 1885 – 13 December 1968) was a senior Swedish Army officer. Early life Gadd was born on 13 March 1885 in Malmö, Sweden, the son of Christoffer Gadd, a wholesaler, and his wife Augusta Lammers. Career Gadd was commissioned as an officer in 1906 and was assigned to Göta Artillery Regiment with the rank of ''underlöjtnant''. He attended the Artillery and Engineering College from 1908 to 1909 and the Royal Swedish Army Staff College from 1913 to 1914. Gadd was then assigned to the General Staff as an officer aspirant from 1916 to 1918. In 1918, Gadd conducted a war history study trip to Kliszów, Poland. Geoffrey Michael Gadd (born 15 July 1954) is a British-Irish microbiologist and mycologist specializing in geomicrobiology, geomycology, and bioremediation. He is currently a professor at the University of Dundee, holding the Boyd Baxter Chair of Biology, and is head of the Geomicrobiology Group. Will Gadd (born March 8, 1967) is a prominent Canadian ice climber and paraglider pilot. He formerly held the paragliding world distance record, with a flight of 423 km in Zapata, Texas. He is the host of the documentary series ''Fearless Planet'', working with regional scientists and traveling with them, or by himself, to various locations that are in the individual episode's focus. Stephen Gadd (born 1964 in Berkshire, South East England) is an English operatic baritone. He graduated in Engineering from St. John's College, Cambridge and then studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, under Patrick McGuigan. He was a finalist in Operalia, (Plácido Domingo's international singing competition), and among other numerous awards he won the 1990 Kathleen Ferrier Memorial Scholarship. Renee Gadd (1908–2003) was an Argentine-born British film actress. She acted mostly in British films. Early life Gadd was born on a ranch in Bahía Blanca, Argentina in 1908 to immigrants from Jersey. Her father Talbot Gadd was a railway executive who abandoned the family, after which they moved to England in 1913. Gadd lived with her aunt and began to study dancing, working as a chorus girl in Brighton by the age of fourteen. In 1924, she was cast in a production of ''Hassan'' by the powerful theatrical agent Basil Dean, after which she appeared in several musical comedies, then straight plays after becoming a member of a Shakespearian company at Stratford-on-Avon. Stray (band)
Stray is an English hard rock band formed in 1966. Vocalist Steve Gadd (born Stephen Gadd, 27 April 1952, Shepherd's Bush, West London), guitarist Del Bromham (born Derek Roy Bromham, 25 November 1951, Acton, West London), bass player Gary Giles (born Gary Stephen Giles, 23 February 1952, North Kensington, West London) and drummer Steve Crutchley (born 1952) formed the band whilst all were attending the Christopher Wren School in London. Richard "Ritchie" Cole (born 10 November 1951, Shepherd's Bush, West London) replaced Crutchley in 1968. They signed to Transatlantic Records in January 1970.
