Gabrielle Jennings
Gabrielle Jennings (born September 15, 1998) is an American track and field athlete. She was the gold medalist in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2022 NACAC Championships. Early life From Slidell, Louisiana, where she attended First Baptist Christian School. She left high school with 44 Louisiana state titles in track and field and cross-country. She then studied Communication and Studio Art (emphasis in Graphic Design) at Furman University. Career Jennings graduated from Furman University and turned pro in 2021. In her final collegiate meet at the 2021 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held in Eugene, Oregon, she ran a new personal best of 9:38.88 in the semi-final of the 3000m steeplechase to reach the final. 2024 United States Olympic Trials (track And Field)
The 2024 United States Olympic trials for track and field will be staged at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Organized by USA Track and Field, the ten-day competition will last from June 21 to 30 and will serve as the national championships in track and field for the United States. The marathon trials will be held on February 3, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. During the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, track and field events will be held between Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 11 with competition beginning each day at 4 am. ET. The 2022 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships were held in Eugene, Oregon organized by USA Track and Field. It was serving as the national championships in track and field for the United States. The results of the event determined qualification for the 2022 World Athletics Championships, also held in Eugene. Provided they had achieved the World standard or are in the World Athletics ranking quota, the top three athletes in each event gained a place on the World team. In the event that a leading athlete did not hold the standard, or an athlete withdrew, the next highest finishing athlete with the standard was selected instead. The Diamond League is an annual series of elite track and field athletic competitions comprising fourteen of the best invitational athletics meetings.
