Gabriel Tota
Gabriel Ferreira Neris (born 29 October 2001), known as Gabriel Tota, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Santa Fé do Sul, São Paulo, Gabriel Tota represented Araçatuba, América-SP, and Novorizontino as a youth. He made his senior debut while on loan at Rio Preto in 2020. In 2021, Gabriel Tota moved to Mirassol and returned to the under-20 squad. He first appeared with the main squad on 25 September of that year, starting in a 1–2 Série C home loss against former side Novorizontino. On 22 January 2022, after impressing in the year's Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, Gabriel Tota was one of the nine players definitely promoted to Mirassol's first team, but moved to Série A side Juventude five days later, on a four-year contract. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B is commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B (Série B), and until 2022 was officially called Brasileirão Sportingbet by sponsorship reasons. It is the second tier of the Brazilian football league system. Although not having been played annually since its founding in 1971, the competition format has changed almost every season. The Copa Paulista de Futebol, formerly known as Copa FPF, also sometimes called Copa Federação Paulista de Futebol or, in English, São Paulo State Cup, is a tournament organized by Federação Paulista de Futebol Company every second half of the season. Campeonato Paulista Série A3 (also referred to as Paulistão A3 for short) is the third level of the São Paulo state professional football championship, one of the Brazilian state championships. Operação Penalidade Máxima (literally ''Operation Maximum Penalty''), is an ongoing Brazilian football match-fixing scandal investigation being performed by the Public Ministry of Goiás. Overview On 14 February 2023, a criminal organization that operated to manipulate the results of football matches in Campeonato Brasileiro Série B of the Brazilian Championship was the target of an operation by the Public Ministry of the State of Goiás (MPGO). The investigation began with three matches from the Série B. All took place in the last round: Vila Nova 0–0 Sport Recife, Criciúma 2–0 Tombense and Sampaio Corrêa 2–1 Londrina.
