Haji Irfan Solanki (born 5 June 1979) is an Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh, affiliated with the Samajwadi Party. He is the member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Sisamau Kanpur Nagar. Incidents of hooliganism In June 2011, Solanki along with 20 others, forced his way into the office of woman IAS officer Ritu Maheshwari. He was arrested after a complaint was filed for misbehaving with her, and this led to his supporters clashing with the police in Kanpur. He later apologized. In May 2012, he was travelling in a car with tinted glass windows in the front, which is illegal under a Supreme Court ruling. Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi
Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi (26 October 1890 – 25 March 1931) was an Indian journalist, a leader of the Indian National Congress and an independence movement activist. He was an important figure in the non-cooperation movement and the freedom movement of India, who once translated Victor Hugo's novel ''Ninety-Three'', and is mostly known as the founder-editor of the Hindi language newspaper, ''Pratap''. Life Ganesh Shankar was born in a Hindu Kayastha family at Hathgaon/Hathgam in Fatehpur District. His father Jai Narain, also spelled as Jainarayan, was a teacher in a middle school namely Anglo Vernacular School in Mungaoli which is now the tehsil of Ashoknagar district of Madhya Pradesh. He was poor but a deeply religious Hindu and dedicated to high ideals. The Rapid Action Force (RAF) is a specialised wing of the Central Reserve Police Force of India to deal with riot and crowd control situations. History RAF was raised on 11 December 1991 with headquarters in New Delhi. It became fully operational on 7 October 1992, to deal with riots, riot like situations, crowd control, rescue and relief operations, and related unrest. The first five battalions were raised by October 1992 and an additional 5 battalions were added in April 1994.
