GSG Aarschot
Gele Ster Gelrode Aarschot (in English: ''Yellow Star Gelrode Aarschot'') is a basketball club from the Belgian town of Aarschot. History The history of the club began in 1954 when Rimelago Basket Aarschot was founded. Initially Rimelago started in fourth provincial division. Aarschotse- club was promoted in a period of 25 years to a first class club. During its most successful period in the 70 Rimelago was six years not once defeated in his own room. Eventually made direct competitor ''Perron Liège'', with the Canadian Robinson, gave an end to this record. In the early 80s the club was renamed BBC Toptours Aarschot. Aarschot
Aarschot () is a city and municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, in Flanders, Belgium. The municipality comprises the city of Aarschot proper and the towns of Gelrode, Langdorp and Rillaar. On January 1, 2019, Aarschot had a total population of 30,106. The total area is which gives a population density of 446 inhabitants per km2. It is located in the part of Flemish Brabant called Hageland, located to the east of Leuven. Aarschot is a very typical town with a long history, dating back to the era of the Roman emperors, according to myths.
