GENCO
is a Japanese anime production enterprise, founded on March 3, 1997. Presided over by Tarō Maki, its headquarters is located in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. It has produced numerous anime series such as ''Honey and Clover'', ''Nodame Cantabile'', ''Elfen Lied'', ''Kino's Journey'', ''Accel World'', ''Sword Art Online'', ''Genshiken'' and ''Toradora''. It has also co-produced original creations like Yasuomi Umetsu's '' Wizard Barristers'' and did project collaborations like in '' Hero Tales'' ''(with Hiromu Arakawa and Studio Flag)'' and in Xebec's '' Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi''. Mnemosyne No Musume-tachi
, also known as ''RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne'', is a six-episode Japanese anime television series produced by Xebec and Genco. The anime was produced to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the AT-X network, which it originally aired on. Funimation licensed the series in North America. The plot, rich in the mix of murder and action, is set in modern and near-future Tokyo, and revolves around Rin Asougi, an immortal private investigator. A light novel and a manga adaptation have also been published. Plot A mysterious tree known as Yggdrasil would often appear in the world of the humans, releasing many small orbs into the human world. Super Milk-chan
is a Japanese anime television series directed by and produced by Genco, Suplex, framegraphics and Geneon Entertainment for the 24-hour Japanese animation channel called Animax. The show pre-began as 14 eight-minute segment episodes which aired on Fuji Television's Flyer TV block from June 18, 1998 to September 24, 1998 from 24:45 to 24:55, with the animation being produced by Tokyo Kids. The full-length show, entitled , ran for 12 twenty-four-minute episodes which was aired on the 24-hour Japanese music channel called Space Shower TV from January 27, 2000 to April 13, 2000 at 19:00 and then 18:00. Super Doll Licca-chan
is a Japanese anime television series which ran on TV Tokyo in 1998–1999. Kodansha also serialized a manga based on the anime series in its monthly manga magazine ''Nakayoshi''. The story follows an ordinary elementary school girl named Licca Kayama and the strange circumstances surrounding her origins, as well as the origins of her protector, Doll Licca. Plot After finding out that she is the princess of the Doll Kingdom, third grade student Licca Kayama is in terrible danger. , shortened to ''Kino's Journey'', is a Japanese light novel series written by Keiichi Sigsawa, with illustrations by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The series follows a traveler named Kino and her talking motorcycle named Hermes, as they explore countries with unique customs and people around a mysterious world, only spending three days at each location. The series originally started serialization in volume five of MediaWorks (publisher), MediaWorks' now-defunct light novel magazine ''Dengeki hp'' on March 17, 2000. The first Tankōbon#Bunkoban, volume of the series was published on July 10, 2000 by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko publishing imprint (trade name), imprint. Hero Tales
is a Japanese manga series written by Huang Jin Zhou (a unit composed of Hiromu Arakawa, Genco, and Studio Flag) and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. It was serialized in Square Enix's ''Gangan Powered'' and later moved to ''Monthly Shōnen Gangan'', when the magazine was closed. The motif of the story was inspired by Chinese wuxia drama and novels. The world view is rooted in Chinese folklore and history, as well as having an element of fantasy. Genshiken
is a Japanese manga series by Shimoku Kio about a college club for ''otaku'' (extremely obsessed fans of various media) and the lifestyle its members pursue. The title is a shortening of the club's official name, , or "The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture". The series has also been adapted into an anime directed by Tsutomu Mizushima.
