GEM (band)
GEM (acronym for "Girls Entertainment Mixture") was a Japanese idol girl group formed in 2013, and part of the Idol Street Idol Street (stylized as iDOL Street) is a Japanese record label and music project specializing in idols. It was launched by Avex on October 2, 2010 as a dedicated idol record label. The first artist on the new label was the idol group Super ... project maintained by Avex Trax. GEM disbanded on March 25, 2018 and the remaining members will be transferred to other iDOL Street group. J-pop ( ja, ジェイポップ, ''jeipoppu''; often stylized as J-POP; an abbreviated form of "Japanese popular music"), natively also known simply as , is the name for a form of popular music that entered the musical mainstream of Japan in the 1990s. TRF (band)
TRF (an abbreviation of Tetsuya Komuro Rave Factory) is a Japanese pop band. Its members are DJ Koo, Sam, Etsu, Yu-ki and Chiharu. History The band debuted as "trf" in the year 1993. During the period of 1994 to 1995, the band released 5 singles produced by Tetsuya Komuro, each selling over a million copies under the Avex record label. In 1995, their song "Overnight Sensation: Jidai wa Anata ni Yudaneteru" received a Japan Record Award. The following year, the band changed their name to an all-capital "TRF" with their single "Hey! Ladies & Gentlemen". Yu-ki has also done voice acting for a children's animation movie '' Elmer's Adventure: My Father's Dragon'', for which she sang the opening theme song as well. BiS (Japanese Idol Group)
Bis (stylized as BiS), also known as , is a Japanese alternative idol girl group that was founded in 2010 by leader Pour Lui following a brief solo career. With music, performances and videos that are extremely different from the typical idol group, Bis have come to be known as alternative idols. They disbanded at Yokohama Arena on July 8, 2014. Exactly two years after their disbandment on July 8, 2016, it was announced by Pour Lui, Kenta Matsukuma and Junnosuke Watanabe that Bis would reform under a new lineup including Pour Lui, and that auditions were going to be held. On March 30, 2019, Bis announced that they would break up at the end of their "Are You Ready To Go?" tour. (stylized as TOKYO GIRLS' STYLE) is a Japanese girl group formed in 2009, and was the first idol group created under Avex Trax after SweetS. The idol group originally consisted of five members: Miyu Yamabe, Hitomi Arai, Yuri Nakae, Konishi Ayano and Mei Shyoji. In December 2015, Konishi Ayano announced retirement from the idol group and the entertainment industry. In April 2015, the group rebranded itself from an idol group and sought to be seen as serious post-idol artists, though they later performed at the Tokyo Idol Festival in 2017. Dream5 was a Japanese co-ed group that was active from 2009 to 2016. Summary In March 2009, over 1,500 singers auditioned on the Japanese TV show " Tensai-TVkun-MAX(NHK)" to become members of a new pop band. 13 members reached the final audition, and five were selected to form the group. On November 4. 2009, they released first single " I don't obey〜Bokura-no-Pride〜" In March 2016, Momona Tamakawa announced that she would be leaving the group because of self-esteem issues. Idoling!!!
was a Japanese TV show with attached female idol group created by Fuji TV. The concept of the group was to watch as the girls grow as idols and experience various things. Idoling's main source of exposure was their TV show, which aired several new episodes every week on FUJI TV ONE, with more than 1000 episodes broadcast since October 30, 2006. Over the years of the show, Idoling!!! released 7 studio albums, 24 singles, collaborated with other idol groups (such as AKB48), released DVD specials and gave many live performances and concerts. The group officially disbanded on October 27, 2015, with the graduation of all remaining members.
