GD Corôa Da Brava
Grupo Desportivo Coroa da Brava or Desportivo Coroa is a football (soccer) club that currently plays in the Brava Island League in Cape Verde. It is based in Nossa Senhora do Monte and plays in Estádio Aquiles de Oliveira in Nova Sintra with a capacity of 500. History The club was founded in 2004. They played their first match in 2004. Coroa finished second for the next two seasons. Coroa was the island champion and won their first and only title in 2008 and appeared in their only national appearance in the 2008 Cape Verdean Football Championships and played in Group A, Coroa scored 3 goals and never won a match, Coroa scored a goal in a week 3 match with Académico do Aeroporto from Sal and lost the match, the final week match was tied at 2 with Boa Vista's Sal Rei. Coroa celebrated its 5th anniversary after its foundation in early 2009. Coroa's success was not as much as the previous seasons, they finished 3rd for the 2009 season, Coroa finished 2nd for the last time in 2010. ...

Sport Sal Rei Club (or as Sport Sal-Rei Clube) is a sports club whose football (soccer) team has played in the Premier division and plays in the Boa Vista Island South Zone Division in Cape Verde. Brava Island Opening Tournament
The Brava Island Opening Tournament (Portuguese: ''Torneio de Abertura da Brava'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Turnéu di Abertura da Braba''), is an opening tournament competition (equivalent to a league cup) played during the season in the island of Brava, Cape Verde The competition is organized by the Brava Regional Football Association (''Associação Regional de Futebol da Brava, ARFB''). Some seasons featured rounds of one portion, some seasons featured three rounds and two groups with the top club of each group in the final match. It currently consists of six rounds, a meeting with another club once. The winner with the most points (sometimes in the final) is the winner. The Brava Island Cup (Portuguese: ''Taça (Copa) da Ilha da Brava'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Tasa da Braba'' or ''Tasa dja Braba'', Brava Creole: ''Taça dja Braba'') is a regional cup competition and is played during the season in the island of Brava, Cape Verde, it consists of all the clubs from all the two regional divisions and are divided into about four to five rounds, for some seasons, a group stage was featured. The cup competition is organized by the Brava Regional Football Association (Associação Regional do Fogo, ARFB).The cup winner competes in the regional super cup final in the following season when a cup winner also wins the championship, a runner-up competes. Académico do Aeroporto ( Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Akadémiku du Aeropurtu'') is a football club that had played in the Premier division and plays in the Sal Island League in Cape Verde. Estádio Aquiles De Oliveira
Estádio Aquiles de Olveira, also as Aquilo de Oliveira is a multi-use stadium in Nova Sintra on the island of Brava, Cape Verde, as the island size is small, it is the only sports venue on the island. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Académica, Benfica and Sporting, clubs based from other parts of the municipality outside Nova Sintra plays at the stadium including SC Juventude da Furna and SC Morabeza. 2008 Cape Verdean Football Championships
The 2008 Cape Verdean Football Championships season was the 29th of the competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. Its started on 10 May and finished on 16 August, later than the last season. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. Sporting would win their 7th title and third straight after defeating Académica do Mindelo in penalty kicks. Sporting gained entry into the 2009 CAF Champions League, it is the last club to enter to date. No second place club would participate in the 2009 CAF Confederation Cup. Overview Sporting Clube da Praia was the defending team of the title. A total of 12 clubs participated in the competition, one from each island league and one who won the last season's title.
