GBA International Sports And Cultural Center
The Greater Bay Area International Sports and Cultural Center (), or GBA Center, is an indoor arena located in Foshan, China. It is used mostly for basketball matches and concerts. The arena opened on 10 November 2018 as the host of the 27th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. On 2 December 2018, a 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification match contested by China and Lebanon was hold as the opening match. Guangzhou Loong Lions of Chinese Basketball Association appointed the arena as their second home arena and played six matches of 2018–19 CBA season in December 2018. Guangzhou Charge of the Overwatch League will also play at the arena from 2020 season. Foshan (, ), alternately romanized as Fatshan, is a prefecture-level city in central Guangdong Province, China. The entire prefecture covers and had a population of 9,498,863 as of the 2020 census. The Hundred Flowers Awards () are, together with the Golden Rooster Awards, the most prestigious film awards honouring the best in Chinese cinema, as well as Hong Kong cinema and the Cinema of Taiwan, they are classified as the Chinese equivalent of the United States Golden Globes. The Macau Black Bears () are a Macanese professional basketball team competing in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL). History Chong Son Kung Fu was a Chinese basketball team playing in the ASEAN Basketball League. Based in Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong, the team plays their home games at the 4,000-seated Nanhai Gymnasium. They joined ABL from 2017–18 season as the "Nanhai Long Lions". They changed their name to Nanhai Kung Fu to differentiate themselves from their mother team, the Guanzhou Long Lions. The Lebanon men's national basketball team (; french: Équipe du Liban de basket-ball), controlled by the Lebanese Basketball Federation (FLB), has represented Lebanon in basketball since its inception in 1947. The squad is governed by FIBA, and is part of the FIBA Asia zone. The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification for the FIBA Asia-Oceania region, began in November 2017 and concluded in February 2019.
