GAS Union
The Used is an American Rock music, rock band from Orem, Utah, that formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalist Bert McCracken, bassist Jeph Howard, drummer Dan Whitesides, and guitarist Joey Bradford. Former members include Quinn Allman, Branden Steineckert, and Justin Shekoski. The group signed to Reprise Records and rose to fame in June 2002 after releasing their The Used (album), self-titled debut album. They followed up with their second album, ''In Love and Death'', in September 2004 and their third album, ''Lies for the Liars'', in May 2007. ''Shallow Believer'', an Extended play, EP that featured most of the band's B-sides, was released in February 2008. Their fourth studio album, ''Artwork (album), Artwork'', was released in August 2009. A fifth album, ''Vulnerable (The Used album), Vulnerable'', was released in March 2012 through the independent label Hopeless Records. In July 2013 they released another EP: ''The Ocean of the Sky''. Orem, Utah
Orem is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States, in the northern part of the state. It is adjacent to Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard and is approximately south of Salt Lake City. Orem is one of the principal cities of the Provo-Orem, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Utah and Juab counties. The 2020 population was 98,129, while the 2010 population was 88,328 making it the fifth-largest city in Utah. Utah Valley University is located in Orem. History At one time the area was known as ''Sharon'', a Biblical name for a mostly level strip of land running between mountains and the sea, and the name of the Vermont birth town of Joseph Smith, founder of the Latter Day Saint movement.
