Gilbert Bruce Meyers (born June 14, 1948) is an American politician. He served as a Republican member for the 32nd district in the Montana House of Representatives for the 2015 session. Clarena Brockie (born 1949, in Havre, Montana) was a Democratic member of the Montana House of Representatives who represents the 32nd District. She defeated former Representative Tony Belcourt by three votes, 371 to 368, in the 2012 election. She was defeated in 2014 by Bruce Meyers. Brockie received a Bachelor's degree from Northern Montana College (now Montana State University–Northern) and a Master's degree from the University of Arizona. Jonathan Windy Boy
Jonathan Windy Boy (born August 28, 1958) is an American politician, currently serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives. From 2008 to 2016, he served in the Montana Senate. In 2019, he stepped down from legislative duties after being found guilty of sexual misconduct. The sexual misconduct stemmed from inappropriate texts he sent in 2017 to female colleagues between mid-August and October. Allegations and anecdotes began circulating of his history sexual misconduct on the reservation. He ran for re-election as Representative of District 32 and served in the 2021 session. Career In 2002, Windy Boy was elected to the Montana House of Representatives, representing House District 32. He has been a member of the Tribal Council of the Chippewa Cree Tribe since 1999. Box Elder, Montana
Box Elder is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hill County in the U.S. state of Montana. The population was 87 at the 2010 census. The population was 794 at the 2000 census, but before 2010 the Box Elder CDP was split into the current much-smaller Box Elder CDP, while most of the former CDP area went into the new Rocky Boy West CDP. Box Elder is the headquarters of the Chippewa- Cree tribe. The post office was established in 1889. The town was first called "Bremer", the name of an early homesteader. Eventually it was changed to "Box Elder", for the nearby creek lined with box elder trees. Geography Box Elder is located near the southern border of Hill County at (48.307210, -110.002873).
