G-Idle
(G)I-dle (), stylized in all caps, is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018. The group consists of five members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. Originally a sextet, Soojin left the lineup on August 14, 2021. (G)I-dle debuted on May 2, 2018, with the single "Latata" from their first extended play (EP) '' I Am''. They debuted in Japan under U-Cube with ''Latata'' on July 31, 2019. After signing with Republic Records in the United States in 2020, the group released their third EP '' I Trust'', which made them only the fourth girl group to sell 100,000 copies of an album in its first week. Their 2020 single album '' Dumdi Dumdi'' became the second best-selling single album by a girl group of all time. Nicha Yontararak ( th, ณิชา ยนตรรักษ์; born ), better known by her Thai name, nickname and stage name Minnie (; ), is a Thai singer, songwriter, and actress based in South Korea. She is a member of South Korean girl group (G)I-dle, which debuted on May 2, 2018 under Cube Entertainment. Life and career 1997–2017: Early life and pre-debut Minnie was born on October 23, 1997, in Bangkok, Thailand. She has older twin brothers. She was born into a musical family, with her mother, aunt and uncle playing the piano. Minnie has been playing piano since she was five and taking vocal lessons since she was seven years old. ''I Trust'' (stylized in sentence case) is the third Korean extended play by South Korean girl group (G)I-dle. It was released digitally on April 6, 2020 and physically on April 7, 2020 by Cube Entertainment. ''I Trust'' features 5 tracks including the pre-released single "Lion" and the lead single "Oh My God", which was produced and written by Jeon Soyeon alongside Big Sancho. It was released through Cube Entertainment on October 17, 2022, as the lead single of the group's fifth extended play '' I Love'' (2022). "Hwaa" (; stylized in all caps) is a song recorded by South Korean girl group (G)I-dle, released on January 11, 2021, by Cube Entertainment and Republic Records as the second track and lead single of the group's fourth extended play, ''I Burn''. The song is written by member Soyeon and co-produced by Pop Time. The inspiration for the song came to Soyeon when member Shuhua once said 'winter girl' in a conversation.
