(Original description) The small, solid shell has a fusiform shape. The Spire (mollusc), spire is acute and slightly longer than the Aperture (mollusc), aperture. It contains ten Whorl (mollusc), whorls , beside the (lost) protoconch. It is covered with a conspicuous olivaceous periostracum.
