''Funny Little Bunnies'' is a ''Silly Symphonies'' animated Disney short film. It was released in 1934. Plot The short is set in the enchanted dell of the titular Easter bunnies, which according to the storybooks, can be visited by those who believe the stories of the Easter bunnies are true. They show how they make the various treats associated with them in preparation for Easter. Wilfred Jackson
Wilfred Jackson (January 24, 1906 – August 7, 1988) was an American animator, arranger, composer and director best known for his work on the ''Mickey Mouse'' and ''Silly Symphonies'' series of cartoons and the ''Night on Bald Mountain''/''Ave Maria'' segment of ''Fantasia'' from Walt Disney Productions. He was also instrumental in developing the system with which Disney added music and sound to ''Steamboat Willie'', the first ''Mickey Mouse'' cartoon. Several of the ''Silly Symphony'' shorts he directed, including ''The Old Mill'' (1937), won Academy Awards during the 1930s. Starting with ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'' in 1937, he directed sequences in many of the major Disney animated features up to ''Lady and the Tramp'' in 1955, including all of the animated sequences in ''Song of the South'' (1946). Dick Kelsey (born Richmond Kelsey, Ventura, California; May 3, 1905 – May 3, 1987), was an important early animation art director, pioneer theme park designer, and illustrator of children's books. His career spanned several Disney films of the 1940s and 1950s, after which he assisted in the design of Disneyland in 1955. Dorothea "Dot" Farley (February 6, 1881 – May 2, 1971) was an American film actress who appeared in 280 motion pictures between 1910 and 1950. She was also known as Dorothy Farley. Biography Born in Chicago, Illinois, Dorothea Farley was the daughter of Eugene Farley and actress Alma Streeter. Her nickname originated when she sang and danced on stage billed as "Chicago's Little Dot" when she was three years old. Farley gained acting experience by working for six years in stock theater and made her film debut in 1910. Mainly known for her roles in short comedies, prolific with Mack Sennett in the silent days, she also appeared in Western films in the early 1910s. She was later notable as the mother-in-law of Edgar Kennedy in most of his series of short films at the RKO studios. Farley was also a writer, with 260 of her stories having been produced by 1924. Dorothy Compton was an American voice actress born in the early 1900s. An early friend of Walt Disney, she made her first acting debut in ''The Three Little Pigs'' (1933) as the voice of Fifer Pig. From 1933 onward she made more appearances in the next 3 installments of the Three Little Pigs: ''The Big Bad Wolf'' (1934), ''The Three Little Wolves'' (1936) and ''The Practical Pig'' (1939) along with minor appearances in ''It's Great to Be Alive (film), It's Great to Be Alive'' (1933) and ''I Married an Angel'' (1942). Mae Questel (born Mae Kwestel, September 13, 1908 – January 4, 1998) was an American actress. She was best known for providing the voices for the animated characters Betty Boop (from 1931) and Olive Oyl (from 1933). She began in vaudeville, primarily working as an impressionist. She later performed on Broadway and in films and television, including her role as Aunt Bethany in ''National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation'' (1989). The Rhythmettes
The Rhythmettes were a singing trio who provided the vocals on several 1930s and 1940s Hollywood films, including Disney ''Silly Symphony'' shorts and '' The Wizard of Oz'' (1939). The original members were Dorothy Compton and Mary Moder with Anna Lou Barnes and Betty Bruce performing as the third member in the early- to mid -1930s. Bruce wrote the musical arrangements for the group. By 1933, the trio was with Al Pearce's radio show, ''The Happy Go Lucky Hour'', on radio station KHJ in Los Angeles. They performed on stage with the rest of Pearce's group in the United States and Canada.
