Clemens Fuest
Clemens Fuest (born 23 August 1968) is a German economist who has been President of the Ifo Institute for Economic Research and director of the Center for Economic Studies at the University of Munich (LMU) since 2016. Career Between 2008 and 2013, Fuest was a professor of business taxation at the University of Oxford and Research Director of the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation, which is part of the Saïd Business School. In 2008, he served as a member of the Independent Expert Group to the Commission on Scottish Devolution. He was member and chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors at the German Federal Ministry of Finance. From March 2013 Fuest served as President of the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim and professor at the University of Mannheim. Irmgard Fuest
Irmgard Fuest (born September 6, 1903 in Münstermaifeld, died June 22, 1980 in Neunkirchen, birth name Irmgard Scherer) was a Saarland politician of the CVP / CDU and lawyer. She completed her legal traineeship at the Court of Appeals and passed her second state examination in 1931, then she worked as a judge at Brühl District Court and as a lawyer in Cologne. In 1935, she founded a law firm in Neunkirchen together with her husband Josef Fuest. She was the first woman to become a Judicial Councilor in the Federal Republic. Robert Fuest
Robert Fuest (30 September 1927 – 21 March 2012) was an English film director, screenwriter, and production designer who worked mostly in the horror, fantasy and suspense genres. Biography Born in London, Fuest served his national service in post-war Germany with the Royal Air Force, air-lifting coal over the Berlin Wall, after which he attended Wimbledon and Hornsey Schools of Art. For a period, he lectured at Southampton College of Art. Fuest also spent time as a drummer in a warm-up band for Chris Barber and George Melly. In the early sixties, he designed sets for television programmes such as ''ITV Play of the Week'' and ''Armchair Theatre''. It was whilst working on the first season of '' The Avengers'' for director Peter Hammond that Fuest developed an enthusiasm for directing.
