Fryars
Benjamin Garrett, better known by his stage name Fryars (sometimes stylised frYars), is an English art pop musician from London. Career Fryars released his debut EP, ''The Ides'', in September 2007, and was profiled as ''The Guardian''s "New band of the week" in November. A second EP, ''The Perfidy'', followed in March 2008. His debut album, ''Dark Young Hearts'', was released in September 2009; its first single, "Visitors", features backing vocals from Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode. In October 2012, Fryars issued the song "Love So Cold" online as a free download, followed by the EP ''In My Arms'' in January 2013 via 679 Recordings. In October 2013, 679 released Fryars' EP ''Radio PWR'', which was accompanied by a series of live shows devised with magician Simon Drake. Sheezus
''Sheezus'' is the third studio album by English singer Lily Allen. It was released on 2 May 2014 by Parlophone. The album is Allen's first work since her musical hiatus in 2009, after the release of her second studio album, '' It's Not Me, It's You'' (2009). In June 2012, Allen announced that she would be returning to music, revealing that she had been recording a new album and that she would be returning to the use of her professional name. Rachel Anne "Rae" Morris (born 2 September 1992) is an English singer and songwriter. She released her debut album, '' Unguarded'', in 2015. Clor
Clor was a short-lived five-piece band from Brixton, England, formed by Barry Dobbin and Luke Smith in 2003 and which signed to the Parlophone record label after only six gigs. The band released a self-titled first album, in 2005 to critical acclaim. The album was selected by NME journalist Krissi Murison for the list of "The 100 Greatest Albums You've Never Heard" published by the ''NME'' in 2010. History The genesis of Clor was a Soho club night entitled Bad Bunny, run by Dobbin and Smith, who wanted to incorporate their own music into their DJ sets. Luke Smith (born 4 May 1978) is an English record producer, mixing engineer, musician and songwriter. He was the co-founder, songwriter, guitarist and vocalist of the band Clor. 679 Artists (formally known as Sixsevenine and 679 Recordings) was a Warner Music Group-owned record label based in London, England. It was started by Nick Worthington who after leaving XL Recordings in 2001, started the company with Warner Music Group, and holds the position of MD and A&R Director. It is named "679" as this was the address of the Pure Groove record shop on Holloway Road. The label's first release was The Streets' debut, ''Original Pirate Material'' (which was named ''The Observer''s best album of the 2000s).
