Frode Unneland
Harald Frode Unneland (born 14 April 1967 in Bergen) is a Norwegian musician, drummer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, piano and vocals). Career Unneland has been a central figure on the Bergen music scene. He has played in bands Savoy, Chocolate Overdose, Unge Frusterte menn, Popium, and Evig Din For Alltid. In 2007 BBC Radio 2 chose Popium's timeless pop masterpiece ''Anchor Down'' as record of the week. In 2012 he found back to old friends, and now as 'Sergeant Petter & The Buddies' they play old songs again. Bergen (), historically Bjørgvin, is a city and municipality in Vestland county on the west coast of Norway. , its population is roughly 285,900. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway. ''Minor Earth Major Sky'' (stylised as ''minor earth | major sky'') is the sixth studio album by Norwegian band A-ha, released on 14 April 2000 by WEA. Background and release Following the release of A-ha's fifth studio album, '' Memorial Beach'' (1993), the band decided to go on a hiatus. In 1998, the band was invited to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Paul Waaktaar-Savoy had written "Summer Moved On" especially for this performance. They also performed "The Sun Always Shines on T.V.". This performance was A-ha's comeback into the world of music and the band decided to return to the studio. Hanne Margrethe Fredriksen Sørvaag (born 27 December 1979) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. For many years she was based in Stockholm, Sweden, mostly composing for other artists via Universal. Today she works from Oslo, Norway and has a career as a recording and performing artist. She released her first album, ''You Know Me'' ( Sony/Columbia), under the artist name Paris in 2002, an album that gave her three fair radio hits in Norway. Her second album, ''Talk of the Town'' (Diamond Road Music), was released in 2006 under her own name. The first single from the album was "I Don't Feel a Thing". Smalltown Supersound is an independent record label, founded in Flekkefjord in 1993 and now based in Oslo, Norway. It is dedicated to new forms of jazz, rock and electronic music. Their catalog features albums by Kelly Lee Owens, Deathprod, Neneh Cherry, Annie, Jaga Jazzist, 120 Days, Mental Overdrive, Bjørn Torske, Mats Gustafsson and Sonic Youth, amongst others. Virgin Records is a record label owned by Universal Music Group.
