FriendsWithYou (FWY) is an art collaboration founded in 2002 and based in Los Angeles, California. History FriendsWithYou was founded in Miami, Florida by Samuel Albert Borkson (b.1979, Plantation, Florida) and Arturo Sandoval III (born 1976, Havana, Cuba). In 2002, which seeks to redesign spirituality, rituals, and religious acts for modern-day usage and connectivity. FriendsWithYou's mission coincides with their motto "Magic, Luck, and Friendship." The collaborative began by creating soft sculptures as a means to spread more accessible art like plush and wood toys, as well as immersive art installations, fine artworks including sculpture and painting, and are best known for their public art spectacles such as large-scale art installations, playgrounds, and performance pieces. ''True and the Rainbow Kingdom'' is an animated children's web series produced by Home Plate Entertainment and Guru Studio in collaboration with American artist duo FriendsWithYou and Pharrell Williams' I Am Other. Based on the artwork by FriendsWithYou, it aired on CBC Television in Canada, WIPR-TV in Puerto Rico and Netflix in the United States and internationally. The 10-episode first season of the series was release on Netflix on August 11, 2017, which led to two five-episode spin-off series, Season 2 ''True: Magical Friends'' and ''True: Wonderful Wishes'', both of which debuted on June 15, 2018. Misaki Kawai (河井美咲) (born 1978 in Ōkawa District, Kagawa, Ōkawa, Kagawa Prefecture, Kagawa, Japan) is a Japanese artist. Her work has been shown extensively in the United States. Superflat is a postmodern art movement, founded by the artist Takashi Murakami, which is influenced by manga and anime.
