Freyr Alexandersson
Freyr Alexandersson (born 18 November 1982) is an Icelandic Association football, football Coach (sports), coach and former player who is currently the manager of the Danish Superliga club Lyngby Boldklub. He was manager of the Iceland women's national football team, Icelandic women's national football team from 2013 to 2018. Playing career Freyr came up through the junior ranks of Leiknir Reykjavík where he played 81 league and cup matches. Managing career Freyr started his coaching career as a girls youth team coach at Leiknir Reykjavík. In 2006 he started as a youth coach for girls at Valur women's football, Valur. Valur women's and men's team Freyr assisted Valur women's team mananger Elísabet Gunnarsdóttir in the summer of 2007 and in September that year Freyr decided to retire from playing football and became joint manager of Valur women's football, Valur women's team alongside Elísabet. 2015 Algarve Cup
The 2015 Algarve Cup was the 22nd edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational Women's association football, women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It took place on 4–11 March. Format Because of the number of competitive teams this year, the format was changed. Previously Group C teams were unable to get into the final, which was played between Group A and B winners. This year however, the final was played between the two best group winners. Points awarded in the group stage followed the standard formula of three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991 the 1. Erik Hamrén
Erik Anders Hamrén (born 27 June 1957) is a Swedish manager and former football player, who is the manager of Danish Superliga club AaB. He also previously coached the Sweden national football team between 2009 and 2016 and the Iceland national football team from 2018 to 2020. Playing career Hamrén played in local team Ljusdals IF before starting his coaching career. An injury ended his playing career. Coaching career Hamrén coached Norwegian team Rosenborg BK to league championship in his first full season with the club. The 2018 FIFA World Cup was the 21st FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national football teams organized by FIFA. It took place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018, after the country was awarded the hosting rights in 2010. The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup was the eighth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international Women's association football championship contested by 24 women's national teams representing member associations of FIFA. Sara Björk Gunnarsdóttir (born 29 September 1990) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian Serie A club Juventus FC and captains the Iceland women's national team. Sara Björk has been part of the Iceland women's national football team since 2007 and represented her country at the 2009, 2013 2017 and 2022 editions of the UEFA Women's Championship. Margrét Lára Viðarsdóttir
Margrét Lára Viðarsdóttir (born 25 July 1986) is an Icelandic former footballer who played in the striker position. She is the all-time top goalscorer of the Iceland national team and competed for her country at the UEFA Women's Championships in 2009 and 2013.
