Erik Hamrén
Erik Anders Hamrén (born 27 June 1957) is a Swedish manager and former football player, who is the manager of Danish Superliga club AaB. He also previously coached the Sweden national football team between 2009 and 2016 and the Iceland national football team from 2018 to 2020. Playing career Hamrén played in local team Ljusdals IF before starting his coaching career. An injury ended his playing career. Coaching career Hamrén coached Norwegian team Rosenborg BK to league championship in his first full season with the club. His previous job was as manager of the Danish Superliga side Aalborg BK, where he guided the team to a 5th-place finish in the 2005–06 season, a 3rd place in the 2006–07 season, and to the championship in the 2007–08 season. Swedish National Football Team
The Sweden national football team ( sv, svenska fotbollslandslaget) represents Sweden in men's international football and it is controlled by the Swedish Football Association, the governing body of football in Sweden. Sweden's home ground is Friends Arena in Solna and the team is coached by Janne Andersson. From 1945 to late 1950s, they were considered one of the greatest teams in Europe. Sweden has made twelve appearances at the World Cup with their first coming in 1934. They have also made six appearances at the European Championship. The 2005–06 Danish Superliga season was the 16th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It took place from the first match on July 19, 2005 to the final match on May 14, 2006. FC København will, as Danish champions, qualify for UEFA Champions League 2006-07 qualification and the Royal League 2006-07. Brøndby IF will, as runners-up, qualify for UEFA Cup 2006-07 qualification and Royal League. Svenska Cupen
Svenska Cupen (, ''The Swedish Cup'') is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup. Svenska Cupen usually refers to the men's tournament, although a women's tournament is also held. Each year 96 teams compete, comprising the 16 teams from Allsvenskan and the 16 teams of Superettan together with 64 teams from lower tiers of the league system. The winners qualify for the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League. The winner is awarded Gustaf VI Adolf Cup. Compared to cups in many other countries, Svenska Cupen attracts considerably less public interest and even the cup final is rarely sold out. Consequently, the Swedish Football Association has experimented with the format in order to raise the profile of the cup. Lars Friis
Lars Friis (born 1976) is a Danish football coach who is the current assistant of Brian Priske in Czech First League club Sparta Prague. Friis has a UEFA Pro coaching license. Career Friis began his coaching career in 1999 at FC Midtjylland, where he was until 2015, when he also left the club shortly after Glen Riddersholm's departure. Soon after, he accompanied Riddersholm to AGF as an assistant. In the spring of 2018, he was offered to join Brentford FC as a development coach, but after a year he returned to AGF as an assistant, now for David Nielsen. In January 2021, he took up his first head coaching position when he joined Viborg FF. In January 2022 he was signed by AaB, but was unable to get out of his contract with Viborg until AaB in March 2022 paid compensation, which meant that Friis started as AaB manager on 9 March 2022. The 2022–23 UEFA Nations League is the third season of the UEFA Nations League, an international association football competition involving the men's national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA in Europe. The competition is being held from June to September 2022 (league phase), June 2023 (Nations League Finals) and March 2024 (relegation play-outs). Heimir Hallgrímsson (born 10 June 1967) is an Icelandic former football player, dentist, and current manager of the Jamaica national football team. Career As a player Heimir started playing for ÍBV from his local town Vestmannaeyjar in 1986. He played with them until 1996 except for the 1993 season in which he played for Höttur while managing their women's team. From 1996 until 2007 he played lower league football with another club from Vestmannaeyjar, from 1996 to 1997 he played with Smástund and from 1998 with KFS, the merged team of Smástund and another lower league team from Vestmannaeyjar called Framherjar.
