Freedom (TV Series)
''Freedom'' is an American science fiction television series that aired on the UPN network from October 27 to December 22, 2000. There were 13 episodes filmed, including the original pilot, but only 9 episodes were aired in the United States. Plot After war breaks out in the Middle East, combined with an economic downturn that causes mass unemployment and homelessness in America, the President of the United States travels extensively to resolve the matter but Air Force One crashes and the President is presumed dead. The United States is taken over by the US military in what becomes an invisible coup, and the faction label themselves the "Regime". Four military personnel, from different sections of the uniformed services are arrested for unknown charges - one later reveals he was ordered to assassinate the President and refused, resulting in false charges being brought against him - and remanded to prison, where they are later freed by unknown rebels. Vern Gillum is an American television director. After attending California School of Fine Arts and graduating from Art Center School in Los Angeles, He went into advertising at McCann Erickson, LA/NY. Assc. Corey Yuen (; born Ying Gang-ming (殷元奎); 15 February 1951) is a Hong Kong director, film director, producer, action choreographer, and former actor. David Wu
David Wu (born April 8, 1955) is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for from 1999 to 2011. He is a member of the Democratic Party. As a child of immigrants from Taiwan, Wu was the first Taiwanese American to serve in the House of Representatives. Wu announced that he would resign from office following resolution of the 2011 debt ceiling crisis, days after an 18-year-old woman left a voicemail at Wu's campaign office accusing him of an unwanted sexual encounter. Wu acknowledged the encounter and said it was consensual. Wu submitted his resignation on August 3, 2011.
