Frederick Kjettrup (born 2 January 2000) is a Danish professional golfer. Kjettrup played college golf at Florida State University, where he won three events. Aabybro
Aabybro or Åbybro is a town in North Jutland, Denmark. The town is the seat of Jammerbugt Municipality, and is the biggest town in the municipality. Aabybro is located 17 km southwest of Brønderslev, 16 km northwest of Aalborg and 30 km northeast of Fjerritslev. History Aabybro was a railway town from 1897 until 1969. Before the construction of the station, there was a very small settlement in the area. The station brought more traffic and expanded the town. It was a stop on the Hjørring-Løkken-Aabybro rail, which operated between 1913 and 1963. Aabybro was formerly the seat of Aabybro Municipality. 2020 European Amateur Team Championship
The 2020 European Amateur Team Championship took place 10–12 September at Hilversumsche Golf Club in the Netherlands. It was the 37th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. Venue The club was founded in 1895, as the fourth golf club in the Netherlands. Its present course consists of nine holes opened in 1918, designed by Henry Burrows, and nine holes opened in 1928, designed by Harry Colt. Latest major course changes was designed by Kyle Philips in 2009. The championship course was set up with par 72. Format Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the championship was played in a reduced format, with 14 teams participating, each of them with four players. Bonallack Trophy
The Bonallack Trophy is an amateur golf competition on the model of the Ryder Cup which opposes every two years a European team and a team representing Asia/Pacific. The venue alternates between courses in Europe and Asia/Pacific. The first competition took place in 1998 in Perth, Australia. Since 2016 it has been held concurrently with the women's Patsy Hankins Trophy. Europe leads the series 7 wins to 3. Format The Bonallack Trophy involves various match play competitions between players selected from two teams of twelve representing Europe and Asia/Pacific. 2023 Eisenhower Trophy
The 2023 Eisenhower Trophy took place 18–21 October at Abu Dhabi Golf Club in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was the 33rd World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. Venue Abu Dhabi Golf Club had previously hosted the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship on the European Tour 2006 to 2021. The 2022 Eisenhower Trophy took place 31 August – 3 September at Le Golf National and Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche south-west of Paris, France. Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. There was an 18-hole playoff which Australia won with a score of 222 to the United States 224. From 1958 to 2000 the teams had four players with the best three scores counting for each round. 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup
The 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup was a team golf competition to be held from 1–3 July 2022 at Golf Club de Genève, Vandœuvres, Switzerland. It was the 26th time the event had been contested and the fifth under the new format in which women golfers play in addition to men, and the United States plays an international team. The international team won the match 33–27. Format The contest was played over three days. On Friday, there were 12 mixed four-ball matches. On Saturday there were 24 foursomes matches, 12 in the morning, six all-women matches and six all-men matches, and 12 mixed matches in the afternoon. 24 singles matches were played on Sunday. The Arnold Palmer Cup is an annual team golf competition for college/university golfers. From 2018 it has been contested between a United States team and an International team representing the rest of the world. The teams consist of 12 men and 12 women. The teams are selected on the basis of nationality, not according to the location of the players' universities. The 2023 event will be held from June 10 to 12 at Laurel Valley Golf Club, near Ligonier, Pennsylvania. History From its foundation in 1997 until 2017 the event was only contested by men. The 2023 European Amateur Team Championship took place 11–15 July at the Royal Waterloo Golf Club in Lasne, Belgium. It was the 40th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship.
