Frederick Lloyd (director)
Frederick Lloyd (born 23 February 1991) is a British film director and composer. He attended University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, graduated in 2012 with a first class degree in Film Production. Lloyd's ''Pantheon'' was screened at the BKSTS 2012 student showcase. This was his third film to be shown at the BFI showcase, with ''The Constant'' being shown in 2011 and ''The Death of the Cinema Projectionist'' the same year. ''Pantheon'' went on to win Best Film, Best Score and Best Production Design at Screentest Film Festival 2013. It also screened internationally at Plus Camerimage 2012 in Poland and National Film Festival for Talented Youth 2013 in Seattle, USA. In July 2013, it was released online for public viewing a year after its completion. University For The Creative Arts
The University for the Creative Arts is a specialist art and design university in the south of England. It was formed in 2005 as University College for the Creative Arts at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester when the Kent Institute of Art and Design was merged into the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, which already had degree-awarding status; both constituent schools had been formed by merging the local art schools, in Kent and Surrey respectively. It was granted university status in 2008, and the name changed to the present one. In 2016 it merged with the Open College of the Arts. ''Forza Horizon 3'' is a 2016 racing video game developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One and Windows. Talons (band)
Talons are a 6-piece instrumental band from Hereford. They formed in 2008, having previously played together in bands belonging to the Hereford music scene. Career Talons formed in 2008 as a reincarnation of an older band, Kites, with an altered line up. They signed to Big Scary Monsters in 2009, releasing their debut single, "The Pearl" in late summer. Once the band began to tour heavily, they released three singles in the buildup to a full-length record. An anthology of all Talons' work prior to Hollow Realm was released, entitled Commemorations. The band recorded their debut album, ''Hollow Realm'' in the summer of 2010, with Tom Woodhead ( Forward Russia) at the helm as producer. A Winged Victory for the Sullen is an American ambient music duo composed of Dustin O'Halloran and Adam Wiltzie. They have released four studio albums, an EP, and one soundtrack album. In 2015, they performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of The Proms. The duo met while Wiltzie was on tour with Sparklehorse in Bologna, Wiltzie commenting in a 2021 interview that "We just clicked—it's really easy to write music together". Deaf Havana are an English alternative rock band from Hunstanton and King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. The band was formed in 2005 at the King's Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia. Biography Early days (2005–2008) Deaf Havana was formed when the original members met at the King's Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia. The band's roots can, however, be traced back much further with Ryan Mellor, James Veck-Gilodi and Lee Wilson all attending Smithdon High School and playing together in various local scene bands. At college, these members were joined by Tom Ogden and Sebastian Spitz. This early lineup saw Veck-Gilodi singing and Mellor taking guitar and vocal duties. The name "Deaf Havana" came from former guitarist Sebastian Spitz, however the name itself has no literal meaning. Kelly Bailey is a composer, musician, programmer and sound designer. He was the senior game designer of sound and music at Valve until he left in 2011 with Mike Dussault to concentrate on their project, Sunspark Labs LLC.
