Franklin Franco Pichardo (14 November 1936 in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic – 15 June 2013 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) was a Dominican historian, sociologist, faculty member and politician from the Dominican Republic. Biography Franklin Franco was born in Santiago de los Caballeros on November 14, 1936, the son of Isaías Franco and Ana Antonia Pichardo. He lived in San Francisco de Macoris up until the age of twelve, and would later move and spend the rest of his upbringing in Santo Domingo. An academy (Attic Greek: Ἀκαδήμεια; Koine Greek Ἀκαδημία) is an institution of secondary or tertiary higher learning (and generally also research or honorary membership).
