Franklin Brown
Franklin Kroonenberg (born 11 March 1961), known professionally as Franklin Brown, is a Dutch singer and voice actor. He is known for representing the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996, together with Maxine, with the song "De eerste keer". Career Eurovision Song Contest 1996 In 1996, Franklin Brown and Maxine won the ''Nationaal Songfestival'' with the song "De eerste keer". This gave them the right to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1996, held in Oslo, Norway. They finished in seventh place with 78 points. Esther Hart (born Esther Katinka Hartkamp on 3 June 1970 in Epe, Gelderland) is a Dutch singer. Career Hart entered BBC TV's ''A Song for Europe'' contest in 2003 with the song "Wait for the Moment". She withdrew from that contest as participating for two countries would not have been acceptable for both BBC and NOS. She opted for participating in ''Nationaal Songfestival'', the Dutch heat of the Eurovision Song Contest, and won. Her song, " One More Night", was placed 13th in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest. The Netherlands participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 with the song "Niemand heeft nog tijd" written by Ed Hooijmans. The Netherlands was represented by Willeke Alberti, with the song "Waar is de zon", at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Dublin on 30 May. The song was chosen at the Dutch national final on 26 March. Willeke Alberti
Willeke Alberti (born 3 February 1945) (real name: Willy Albertina Verbrugge) is a Dutch singer and actress, the daughter of entertainer and singer Willy Alberti (1926–1985) and Hendrika Geertruida Kuiper (1921–2011). Biography Willeke Alberti started her career at the early age of eleven in the musical ''Duel om Barbara'' and she recorded her first single in 1958 together with her father. During the 1960s, she was a well-known singer in the Netherlands and had at least one No. 1 hit with "De winter was lang" ("It was a long winter"), however there was no official Dutch chart at the time. Willeke and her father had a television show between 1965 and 1969.
