Frank Toledo (born April 12, 1970) is an American boxer who held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) featherweight championship in 2001. Biography Toledo, born in Newark, New Jersey, fought out of Paterson, New Jersey. He became a professional boxer in 1989. In 1993 and 1994, he defeated future world champions Clarence "Bones" Adams and Hector Acero Sanchez. In 1995, he fought Marco Antonio Barrera for Barrera's World Boxing Organization super bantamweight title. Barrera knocked him out in the second round. Manuel Medina (born March 30, 1971) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2008. He is a five-time featherweight champion, having held the IBF title thrice between 1991 and 2002, the WBC title in 1995, and the WBO title in 2003. Professional boxing career Manuel Medina began his professional boxing career on September 9, 1985, beating Daniel Flores by a four-round decision in Mexicali, Mexico. Medina was only fourteen years old when his first professional fight took place. Mbulelo Botile
Mbulelo Botile (born 23 July 1972) is a South African former professional boxer who competed between 1989 and 2005. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the IBF bantamweight title from 1995 to 1997 and the IBF featherweight title from 2000 to 2001. Professional career Botile turned pro in 1989 and won his first twenty-one bouts, including fifteen straight to set up a shot at the IBF Bantamweight title against Harold Mestre in 1995. Botile won with a second-round KO. He successfully defended the title five times before losing the belt to Tim Austin in 1997, by a seventh-round TKO. Botile moved up in weight and in 2000 took on IBF Featherweight title-holder Paul Ingle, winning the belt with a twelfth-round TKO. Orlando Canizales (born November 25, 1965) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 1999. He held the IBF bantamweight title between July 1988 and December 1994. Early life Canizales who is of Mexican descent was born in Laredo, the seat of Webb County in South Texas. There he began training at the age of ten at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. He is the younger brother of fellow bantamweight world champion Gaby Canizales. Both brothers obtained the title of world boxing champion at the same age and weight. Professional boxing career Canizales turned professional in 1984 and was undefeated in twelve fights (one fight was a draw) before meeting the 1984 Olympic gold medalist Paul Gonzales in 1986.
