Frank Hamilton (singer)
Frank Hamilton (born 4 October 1985) is an English singer, songwriter and producer living in London. He is best known for pioneering the rapid-release strategy with #OneSongaWeek - a year long project in which he wrote, recorded and released a song a week. Since then he has released two studio LPs and come full circle, announcing the return of One Song a Week II in 2019. Early life and career beginnings Frank Hamilton was born in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England. He took an early interest in music, singing along to the likes of Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon in the back of his parents Volvo. He attended St Ivo School and was a keen sportsman, at one point ranked No. 8 in England at table tennis. Whilst in his late teens, Hamilton turned back to music and after discovering Blink 182, bought a guitar and began writing songs. Huntingdon
Huntingdon is a market town in the Huntingdonshire district in Cambridgeshire, England. The town was given its town charter by King John in 1205. It was the county town of the historic county of Huntingdonshire. Oliver Cromwell was born there in 1599 and became one of its Members of Parliament (MP) in 1628. Lucy Spraggan
Lucy Honour Ruby Spraggan (born 21 July 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. She auditioned for ''The X Factor (UK series 9), The X Factor'' in 2012, performing her own composition, "Last Night (Lucy Spraggan song), Last Night". On 3 November 2012, it was announced she would be quitting her run on ''The X Factor'' due to illness, so she subsequently finished in ninth place, and second in her category. Following the show Spraggan was signed a recording contract with Columbia Records. Spraggan was the first contestant in the show's history to score a Top 40 single and album before the live shows aired, with her independently released album ''Top Room at the Zoo''. Scouting For Girls
Scouting for Girls are an English pop rock band. Their name is a play on the title of the 1908 Scouting handbook ''Scouting for Boys''. The band was formed in 2005 by three childhood friends from London, Roy Stride on piano and lead guitar/vocals, Greg Churchouse on bass guitar and Peter Ellard on Drums. They signed to Epic Records in 2007 and released their self-titled debut album that September and it reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart in 2008. ''The Independent'' is a British online newspaper. It was established in 1986 as a national morning printed paper. BBC Radio 6 Music is a British digital radio station owned and operated by the BBC, specialising primarily in alternative music. ''TFI Friday'' is an entertainment show that was broadcast on Channel 4 television in the United Kingdom. It was produced by Ginger Productions, written by Danny Baker, and hosted by Chris Evans, for the first five series. The sixth series was hosted by several guest presenters. The show was broadcast on Fridays at 6pm from 9 February 1996 to 22 December 2000, with a repeat later that night. Its theme tune was Ron Grainer's theme from ''Man in a Suitcase'', in keeping with Evans' frequent use of 1960s television themes in his work.
