Francesco Yates
Francesco Yates (born September 11, 1995) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Biography Yates was born in Toronto and started writing music at the age of 11. He signed to Atlantic Records when he was 16. His self-titled debut EP, released on September 11, 2015, was co-produced by Robin Hannibal and Pharrell Williams. In 2015, Yates received the Heatseeker Award at the Canadian Radio Music Awards and performed at the official Canada Day celebration in Ottawa. He provides the vocals on the Robin Schulz song "Sugar". He also performed at We Days across Canada that same year. In 2016, he was an opening act for Canadian pop rock band Hedley on their Hello World Tour with Carly Rae Jepsen. On February 2, 2018, his single "Come Over", was released, alongside the announcement that Francesco was going to be the opening act on the Canadian leg of Justin Timberlake's Man Of The Woods Tour. "Sugar" is a song by German DJ and record producer Robin Schulz. It features the vocals from Canadian singer Francesco Yates. The song was released in Germany on 17 July 2015 as the second single from his second studio album of the same name. It interpolates Baby Bash's 2003 single "Suga Suga". Music video The music video for this song was released onto YouTube on 24 July 2015 and runs for a total length of three minutes and forty-two seconds. Yates is seen in the video along with a rogue police officer, Officer Finkleman (played by comedian Nathan Barnatt), who gyrates and grooves to the tune of the song while driving. Schulz also appears on a billboard for a concert. We Day
We Day (stylized as WE Day) was an annual series of stadium-sized youth empowerment events organized by We Charity (formerly known as Free The Children), a Canadian charity founded by brothers Marc and Craig Kielburger. WE Day events host tens of thousands of students and celebrate the effect they have made on local and global issues. Students earn their tickets by participating in the We Schools program, a year-long service learning program run by We Charity. Each event features a lineup of social activists, speakers and musical performances. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by ''Billboard'' on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday.
