Francesca Martinelli (born 13 March 1971) is an Italian ski mountaineer. Martinelli was born in Milan. She started ski mountaineering in 1980 and competed first in the ''Gara dell'Adamello'' race in 2003. Two years after she became a member of the Italian national team. Laëtitia Roux (born 21 June 1985) is a French ski mountaineer. Roux was born in Savines-le-Lac and started ski-mountaineering at the age of nine. In autumn of 2005, she joined the PACA section of the Fédération française de la montagne et de l’escalade (FFME). She competed in December of the same year at the Alpi-Champsaur race. Roux is member of the Team Ecrins Hautes-Alpes and the international Dynafit team. She has been a member of the French national selection since 2007 and lives in Grenoble. Dachstein Xtreme
Hoher Dachstein () is a strongly karstic mountain in central Austria and the second-highest mountain in the Northern Limestone Alps. It is situated at the border of Upper Austria and Styria, and is the highest point in each of those states. Parts of the massif also lie in the state of Salzburg, leading to the mountain being referred to as the ''Drei-Länder-Berg'' ("three-state mountain"). The "Mountain Attack" is an annual Austrian ski mountaineering Ski mountaineering (abbreviated to skimo) is a skiing discipline that involves climbing mountains either on skis or carrying them, depending on the steepness of the ascent, and then descending on skis.
