Fotunu'upule Auelua (known as ''Fotu'') is an Australian rugby union player who plays at Number eight (rugby union), Number 8 for the ACT Brumbies, Brumbies in Super Rugby. He previously played for US Dax, Dax, RC Toulonnais, Toulon and NTT Communications Shining Arcs. Early life Auelua is of Samoan descent. He was born in Wellington but moved with his family to Campbelltown in Sydney at a young age, where he played most of his junior rugby for the Campbelltown Harlequins RFC, Campbelltown Harlequins Rugby Club. He attended Trinity Grammar School (New South Wales), Trinity Grammar and played rugby for the Australian Schoolboys national rugby union team, Australian Schoolboys in 2001 and 2002. The 2006–07 Rugby Pro D2 is a French rugby union club competition. The season runs alongside the 2006-07 Top 14 competition, which is the highest club competition. At the end of the season, Auch were champions and thus automatically promoted to Top 14. They were eventually followed by Dax who beat La Rochelle in the final providing the second promotion place. Colomiers were relegated to Fédérale 1; Limoges finished in a relegation spot, but were reprieved when Gaillac were denied a professional license for the 2007–08 season due to serious financial problems. Rugby Pro D2, also known as Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France. It is operated by Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) which also runs the division directly above, the first division Top 14. Rugby Pro D2 was introduced in 2000. It is the world's best supported second tier rugby union league. Season structure There is relegation and promotion between both the Top 14 and Fédérale 1, the third-level competition. The top club at the end of the season is automatically promoted to the Top 14; through the 2016–17 season, the 2nd through 5th place teams play each other for the second promotion place.
