In music, the dynamics of a piece is the variation in loudness between notes or phrases. Dynamics are indicated by specific musical notation, often in some detail. However, dynamics markings still require interpretation by the performer depending on the musical context: for instance, the ''forte'' marking (meaning loud) in one part of a piece might have quite different objective loudness in another piece or even a different section of the same piece. Forte (foaled February 3, 2020) is a multiple Grade I winning American Thoroughbred racehorse who won the Grade I Hopeful Stakes, Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland and Breeders' Cup Juvenile which was held at Keeneland as a two-year-old. Background Forte is a dark bay or brown colt that was bred in Kentucky by South Gate Farm. He was sired by Violence, winner of the 2012 Grade I CashCall Futurity at Hollywood Park.
