Robin Lehman
Robin Lehman (born Robert Owen Lehman Jr.; December 3, 1936) is an American documentary filmmaker best known for his short films '' Don't'' (1974) and '' The End of the Game'' (1975), which received consecutive Academy Awards for Best Documentary (Short Subject). He is a member of the Lehman family. Biography Born Robert Owen Lehman Jr., he is the son of Robert Lehman (1891–1969) and Ruth "Kitty" (Leavitt) Meeker Lehman (1904–1984). His mother is the daughter of William Homer Leavitt and Ruth Bryan Owen and granddaughter of United States Secretary of State, William Jennings Bryan. His father is the son of Philip Lehman and the grandson of Emanuel Lehman. Her father is of Jewish background. Tyketto is an American hard rock band, based out of New York City, New York, United States. The group was put together in 1987 by the former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn, with Brooke St. James (guitar), Jimi Kennedy ( bass), and Michael Clayton (drums). History The band saw their name painted on a wall in Brooklyn and thought it sounded cool. By 1989, the band had signed to Geffen Records and released their debut album ''Don't Come Easy'', which included the successful single "Forever Young." Musically, the album was somewhere between Whitesnake and Bon Jovi, and Tyketto opened for the former on many bills. However, the rise of the grunge sound in 1991 saw Tyketto's hopes of a big breakthrough begin to recede. Kennedy left the band and was replaced by Jaimie Scott. ''Introducing Sparks'' is the seventh album by the American rock band Sparks, released in 1977 by Columbia Records. Release At the time of its release, Pete Makowski in ''Sounds'' suggested that the album was "probably the most adventurous musical outing yet" from Sparks, suggesting that Ron Mael "is one of the most underrated and original lyricists in the galaxy."
