Forefather
''Forefather'' is an English folk metal band from Surrey. They also incorporate elements of Viking metal and black metal. Since inception in 1997 the band has released seven studio albums. History ''Forefather'' was formed in September 1997 by brothers Wulfstan and Athelstan. Two years later ''Forefather'' released its first album, ''Deep Into Time'', on the band's own label, ''Angelisc Enterprises'', on which two more albums would be released by the band, ''The Fighting Man'' and ''Engla Tocyme'', in 2000 and 2002, respectively. ''Forefather's'' fourth album, ''Ours Is the Kingdom'' was released in 2004 by ''Hammerheart Records, Karmageddon Media'', on which the band's entire back catalogue of albums was re-released as well - remastered and with added bonus tracks. Ours Is The Kingdom
''Ours Is the Kingdom'' is the fourth album by English metal band Forefather. Its title is a play on the line of the Lord's Prayer ''"For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory"''. The lyrics of the track are a statement against Christianity and a defiant will to reclaim the English kingdom from an alien God. Folkearth
Folkearth is an international music project created in 2003 by musicians playing folk and viking metal. The name (folk + earth) symbolizes musicians from all over the world playing folk music. So far, a total of twelve full-length albums have been released, with the most recent being ''Balder's Lament''. History The history of the group began in February 2003 when the idea for creating a project which could unite musicians from different countries who play folk and pagan metal originated from some musicians. ''A Nordic Poem'' album was released in 2004. Because of what the band perceived as the poor quality of this record, Folkearth decided to remaster and reissue their debut.
