Federation Of Uganda Football Associations
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is the governing body of association football in Uganda. The association was founded in 1924, became affiliated with FIFA in 1960 and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in 1961. In 1973, FUFA went ahead and got affiliated with CECAFA. Further more, FUFA is also affiliated to Uganda Olympic Committee. FUFA is; * a custodian of eight men's and women's national football teams (i.e. the Uganda Cranes, the Crested Cranes, U-23; Uganda Kobs, U-20; Uganda Hippos, U-17; Uganda Cubs, Sand Cranes, U-20 girls and U-17 girls) * a top administrator/regulator of national football league which runs from the first tier (top/1st division) to the fifth tier (5th division). Mengo, Uganda
Mengo is a hill in Rubaga Division, Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. The name also applies to the neighborhood on that hill. Express FC
Express Football Club, abbreviated as Express, is a Ugandan football club from Kampala, the largest city and capital of Uganda. The club play their home games at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium. History Express FC is popularly referred to by the club fans as the Red Eagles and has also been known as the Express Sports Club. The club is one of the oldest football clubs in Uganda, having been founded in October 1957 by managers of the Uganda Express Newspapers. King's College Budo
King’s College Budo is a mixed, residential, secondary school in Central Uganda (Buganda). Location The school is located on Naggalabi Hill, in southern Wakiso District, off the Kampala-Masaka Road. History The school was officially opened on 29 March 1906 with 21 boys. Lieutenant-General Sir William Pulteney Pulteney, (18 May 1861 – 14 May 1941) was a British general during the First World War. Early military career Educated at Eton College, Pulteney was commissioned into the Oxford Militia in 1878. He transferred to the Scots Guards where he was commissioned a second lieutenant on 23 April 1881. Anglo-Egyptian War The following year he served in the Anglo-Egyptian War, where he was present at the Battle of Tell El Kebir (September 1882).
