Football Madness
Football Madness is a soccer video game developed by Italian studio Naps Team and released by Phoenix Games for the PlayStation on March 28, 2003, only in Europe. Gameplay The game is played in a 5-a-side indoor soccer environment where one of 16 international teams can be selected to play in a single match, league or cup. There are no rules and no referee and various power-ups can be collected during the game. NAPS team is an Italian independent video game studio based in Messina, Sicily. They work mostly in the home computer and console market. History The company was established as a game developing house in 1993 by Fabio Capone and Domenico Barba. Like many software houses established in the 1990s, their first market was on the 16-bit Amiga. In 2016, the company started work on the game ''Iron Wings''. The company used Kickstarter to raise funds. Completed in 2017, it features aerial warfare and is set in World War II. Indoor soccer or arena soccer (known internationally as indoor football, fast football, or showball) is five-a-side version of minifootball, derived from association football and adapted to be played in walled hardcourt indoor arena. Evercade
The Evercade is a handheld game console developed and manufactured by UK company Blaze Entertainment. It focuses on retrogaming with ROM cartridges that each contain a number of emulated games. Development began in 2018, and the console was released in May 2020, after a few delays. Upon its launch, the console offered 10 game cartridges with a combined total of 122 games. Arc System Works, Atari, G-Mode, Interplay Entertainment, Bandai Namco Entertainment and Piko Interactive have released emulated versions of their games for the Evercade. Pre-existing homebrew games have also been re-released for the console by Mega Cat Studios.
