Foolish Age
''Foolish Age'' is a Tanzanian drama film released in 2013. It was produced by Elizabeth Michael. The film explores adverse and destructive influences faced by teenagers. Synopsis The film tells the story of Loveness (Elizabeth Michael) a young girl who has been raised by her rich father after the death of her mother years ago who died from HIV/AIDS. Loveness and her father are also living with HIV/AIDS. Loveness is studying abroad but she later forces her father to let her study in her home country, Tanzania. She finds a new school and makes new friends, but her best friend (Diana Kimaro) is not a good girl. They engage themselves in love affairs at a young age with different men. They stop attending school in favor of club life and changing men. Loveness leaves her father's well-appointed house without saying goodbye to her father and goes to live a ghetto life. Elizabeth Michael
Elizabeth Michael (Lulu) (born April 16, 1995) is a Tanzanian actress. In 2013, she won the Zanzibar International Film Festival award for Best Actress for "Woman Of Principles". She also won 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for Best Movie Eastern Africa. In August 2017, Africa Youth Awards named her among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans. In November 2017, she was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for the 2012 death of Steven Kanumba and sentenced to two years in prison. On April 26, 2018, on Tanzanian Union celebration, she was among of the prisoners who were pardoned by President John Pombe Magufuli where her sentence was reduced. She was later released on May 9, 2018 after serving six months in prison to do community services for the remaining time after showing good behavior while she was in prison. Judith Wambura Mbibo (born 15 June 1979), known by her stage name Lady Jaydee also referred to as ''"Lady JayDee in town"'' or ''"Lady Jay Dee"'', is a Tanzanian singer. She specializes in the R&B, Zouk (musical movement), Zouk and Afro Pop genres.
