State Road 18 (SR 18) is a short state road in the U.S. state of Florida. It begins in Worthington Springs in southern Union County and travels eastward for into Bradford County until it becomes County Road 18 at Brooker. It also has county road extensions, one of which is between Fort White and Worthington Springs, and the other between Brooker and SR 100 north of Theressa. Worthington Springs, Florida
Worthington Springs is a spring and town in Union County, Florida, United States. The population was 181 at the 2010 census. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2018 estimates, the town had a population of 380. History The community was named for early settler Sam Worthington, who arrived prior to the first Seminole War of 1814–1819. The mineral spring on the Santa Fe River was alleged to have medicinal benefits, attracting people from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. In the early years, swimming was segregated, with men and women assigned specific time intervals. In 1906, the new owner constructed a 12'×12' concrete box around the spring to divert water into a 90'×50' concrete pool with a wall dividing the bathing area into sections for men and women. Ichetucknee Springs State Park is a Florida State Park and National Natural Landmark located 4 miles (6 km) northwest of Fort White off State Road 47 and State Road 238. State Road 20 (SR 20) is a east-to-west route across northern Florida and the Florida Panhandle in the United States. Route description Okaloosa County (Niceville and Bluewater Bay) SR 20 starts at SR 85 in Niceville as John Sims Parkway, which travels to Eglin AFB East Gate through Valparaiso as westbound SR 85 and southbound SR 397. SR 20 heads slightly southeast while SR 85 goes north towards Crestview. Hampton is a city in Bradford County, Florida, United States. The population was 500 at the 2010 census. History Early history Hampton was incorporated in 1925.
