Flemsøya
Flemsøya or Skuløya is an island in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located between the islands of Haramsøya and Fjørtofta. The island is connected to the neighboring island of Haramsøya by the Ullasund Bridge. The population (2015) of the island was 503. The eastern and southern coastline is flat, the rest of the island is mountainous. The highest point, ''Skulen'', is tall. The village of Longva is located on the west side of the island, along the Longvafjorden. The new Nordøyvegen bridge and tunnel project will connect the island of Flemsøya to the mainland and its neighboring islands when it is completed in 2022. Haramsøya
Haramsøya is an island in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located between the islands of Lepsøya and Flemsøya, just northwest of the mainland. The village of Austnes is located on the southeast part of the island, and that is the location of Haram Church. The Ulla lighthouse is located on the north end of the island. The population (2015) of the island is 571. The island is connected to the mainland via a car ferry to the mainland and to the neighboring island of Lepsøya. The Ullasund Bridge connects the island to the other neighboring island of Flemsøya to the north. Fjørtofta
Fjørtofta is an island in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located in the northern part of the municipality, between the islands of Flemsøya, Harøya, and Midøya and Dryna (both in Molde Municipality). Fjørtofta is a fairly flat island and the highest point is the tall ''Æafjellet''. Agriculture and fishing are the main industries on the island. Fjørtoft Church is located on the northern part of the island. In 2015, there were 136 residents of the island. The island has ferry connections to the village of Brattvåg (on the mainland) and to the village of Myklebost (on Harøya island). Ullasund Bridge
The Ullasund Bridge ( no, Ullasundbrua) is a bridge that crosses the Ullasundet strait between the islands of Haramsøya and Flemsøya in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The original bridge was opened in 1969. The Ulla lighthouse is located just northwest of the eastern end of the bridge. Many bridges need to be repaired because the salt in the seawater damages the concrete and the iron inside it. The old Ullasund Bridge actually had to be taken down, because it was too damaged. It was taken down in 1998, after just 29 years in service. It has been replaced with a new bridge. Møre og Romsdal (; en, Møre and Romsdal) is a county in the northernmost part of Western Norway. It borders the counties of Trøndelag, Innlandet, and Vestland. Nordøyvegen
Nordøyvegen () is a road that connect the northern islands of Ålesund (formerly in Haram Municipality and Sandøy Municipality) to the mainland in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. This road was opened in 2022 and replaced several ferry crossings and costed around . It provides a faster, ferry-free connection to the mainland for the approximately 3,000 residents of the islands. The road is partly financed by a toll station at the Lepsøy, as of 2022 costing 219 NOK per direction for cars. The project includes crossing four fjords with tunnels and bridges and upgrading and re-routing roads on the islands to meet national standards. A total of seven islands is connected to the mainland using two existing bridges and by building three new bridges, a causeway using fill, and three undersea tunnels.
