Fleet Research And Development Command
The Fleet Research and Development Command belonged to the surface force for the self-defense fleet of the Maritime Self-Defense Forces. Its main tasks are experimental technology testing and development. History On 16 October 1973, the Self-Defense Fleet was subordinated to the new edition of the Program Operations Force. On 1 July 1978, the Self-Defense Fleet was placed under the new edition of Development Guidance Group. Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force
, abbreviated , also simply known as the Japanese Navy, is the maritime warfare branch of the Japan Self-Defense Forces, tasked with the naval defense of Japan. Self Defense Fleet

JDS ''Yukikaze'' (DD-102) was the second ship of Harukaze-class destroyers, and the second destroyer of the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force to be built in Japan since the end of World War II.
