Flashover Recordings
Flashover Recordings is a trance music record label founded by Dutch trance producer and DJ Ferry Corsten in 2005. The label was first formed releasing only trance music which included its sub-labels Levare Recordings and Flashover Recordings itself. But in recent years, the label has started to release both trance and house music. The label has 3 new house sublabels, releasing only one style of house on each of the 3 including Flashover Progressive House & Flashover Electro House. In June 2014, Flashover Recordings have announced their new sub-label titled 'Flashover Trance'. Trance Music
Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged from the British new-age music scene and the early 1990s German techno and hardcore scenes. Trance music is characterized by a tempo generally lying between 135–150 beats per minute (BPM), repeating melodic phrases and a musical form that distinctly builds tension and elements throughout a track often culminating in 1 to 2 "peaks" or "drops". Although trance is a genre of its own, it liberally incorporates influences from other musical styles such as techno, house, pop, chill-out, classical music, tech house, ambient and film music. Dave Walker
David Walker (born 25 January 1945) is a British singer and guitarist who has been front-man for a number of bands; most notably The Idle Race, Savoy Brown and Humble Pie, he also served briefly with Fleetwood Mac and Black Sabbath. DJ Kura
Rúben de Almeida Barbeiro (born August 21, 1987 in Leiria), better known as KURA, is a Portuguese electro house music DJ and producer. Kura has released tracks through labels such as Hardwell's Revealed Recordings, Flashover Recordings, Musical Freedom, Spinnin' Records, among others. Career In the early 2000s, he started following the club scene and by 2005 Kura would play on a DJ booth while working at a skate shop near Lisbon and eventually gigs in Cascais's club Coconuts. His first DJ residency came along and he became Bahaus resident DJ for 3 years. His first bootleg was a hit among his peers – Sidney Samson's "Work It" on Hardwell's remix crossed with Bob Marley followed by his first original track, "Russian Guitar" that was picked up by the Portuguese label, Kaos Records. Tritonal is an American music duo from Austin, Texas consisting of producers and DJs Chad Cisneros and David Reed. They are also known for hosting the ''Tritonia'' radio show, broadcasting from Sirius XM BPM channel 51. Biography Formed in 2008, Tritonal, the Texas-based production and DJ duo consisting of Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed, are #65 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs of 2012 and one of MTV Clubland's "10 Artists to Watch in 2013". Iason Chronis (born 17 January 1980), better known as Mason, is a Dutch DJ and producer. He had a number one on the UK Dance Singles Chart in 2007 with his track "Exceeder". Exceeder had originally been an instrumental and had received a vinyl-only release in the UK in 2006. The new version of the track, "Perfect (Exceeder)", was a mashup with American rapper Princess Superstar's song " Perfect" and reached number 3 on the national British chart in January 2007. Coburn is a London, UK-based electronic band. Its members are Pete Martin and Tim Healey. The duo are producers, remixers, DJs and LIVE festival performers and active on the global dance scene whose debut long-player was released June 2007 on Great Stuff Recordings.
