''Flash'' (stylized as FLASH) is Japanese singer-songwriter Crystal Kay's second extended play, and her first release in 2010. It was released throughout Japan on June 16, 2010. Background and promotion Initial promotion and ringtone releases Information on the album release was first revealed on February 9, 2010 when a new song "Flash" was announced on Kay's official website. It was used in commercials featuring Joe Odagiri for Canon IXY 10S digital cameras from February 19 onwards. The song was produced by the LA based production team of jACK. ringtone of the song was made available to download on Recochoku's Chaku-Uta on February 24. "Flash" will be used as the main promotional track for the album's release. One month later another new song "Victoria" was used as the commercial song for Tully's Coffee's Barista's Choice Black campaign from March. Crystal Kay
is a Japanese singer, songwriter, actress and radio host. After releasing her first single, " Eternal Memories" (1999), Crystal Kay gained fame for her third studio album, '' Almost Seventeen'' (2002), which debuted at number 2 on the Japanese Oricon charts. ''Almost Seventeen'' eventually sold over 400,000 copies and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Crystal Kay, formerly signed to Epic Records, a sub-label of Sony Music Japan for 12 years, suddenly transferred to Delicious Deli Records, a sub-label of Universal Music Japan in 2011. As of April 2021, she has released thirteen albums. Tully's Coffee
Tully's Coffee is an American specialty coffee manufacturing brand owned by Keurig Dr Pepper, which acquired the Tully's brand and wholesale business in 2009. At the time of the Keurig wholesale acquisition, the "Tully's" name and retail-store rights were retained by the now-defunct original retailer and wholesaler chain of coffee shops based in Seattle, Washington, which had been originated by Tom "Tully" O'Keefe in 1992. Its stores served specialty coffees, espresso, baked goods, pastries, and coffee-related supplies. The U.S. chain closed permanently in September 2018. The coffee-shop chain also has overseas licensing agreements in Japan, which since 2006 have been owned by Ito En, Inc. Background It is Kay's second double A-side single, and her first since "Kirakuni/Together" in 2006. The single was announced on Kay's official website on July 1 which marks the tenth anniversary since the release of Kay's début single in 1999. "After Love (First Boyfriend)" features Kaname from the J-Pop duo Chemistry. "After Love (First Boyfriend)" is a follow-up to Kay's 2003 single "Boyfriend: Part II" and used as the CM song for Itoen Tully's Coffee commercials throughout July.
