Fjalar Þorgeirsson
Fjalar Þorgeirsson (born 18 January 1977) is an Icelandic football coach and former player who played the goalkeeper position. He played 5 games for the Iceland national football team during his career. He played 227 matches in the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla. Playing career Fjalar started his career with Þróttur before joining Fram in 2000. After two seasons with Fram, Fjalar returned to Þróttur where he played until their relegation in 2005. From 2006 to 2011 he played for Fylkir. On 27 July 2009, he broke his hand during a game against Fram after a collision with an opponent. Despite the injury, he played the remaining 20 minutes of the game. Prior to the 2012 season, Fjalar signed with KR. During the season, he was a reserve goalkeeper to Hannes Þór Halldórsson, only appeared in two matches. In October 2012, Fjalar signed with Valur. Íþróttafélagið Fylkir is a multi-sport club in Árbær, in the eastern part of Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. It features departments in football, handball, volleyball, gymnastics and karate. Stjarnan Men's Football
The Stjarnan men's football team is the men's football department of the Ungmennafélagið Stjarnan multi-sport club. It is based in Garðabær, Iceland, and currently plays in the Besta deild karla, the top-tier men's football league in Iceland. History The association was founded in 1960. The men's division played in 1980 in the first Icelandic League (then Landsbankadeild) and managed the 2000 promotion again to the highest Icelandic league. In 2008 men's reached the summit and thus to play in Úrvalsdeild since 2009. Hannes Þór Halldórsson (born 27 April 1984) is an Icelandic filmmaker and former professional footballer. He was a member of the Iceland national team where he was capped 77 times and appeared at UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Club career Iceland Hannes played club football in Iceland for Leiknir, Afturelding, Stjarnan, Fram and KR. Hannes joined KR at the age of 5. He quit football at the age of 20 following a shoulder injury, before returning to the sport and joining third-tier Leiknir.
